As mentioned earlier, I will be attending some important events this term and will need to work on my networking skills. I want to create my own business cards for these events and so I did. I wanted to work out a logo first so I sketched out some quick deisgns first and then deicide on the one below. You can see it featured in my website below too. I am quite pleased with the finished design. It is clean and readable. I think navy blue will become my staple colour. Below I h
As the semester carries on and more and more events are held around Edinburgh and uni, I have realised that I need to improve my website and overall image so that potential employers and clients can see my work better. My current website design is clunky and outdated, with a lot of the work being from second and third year. I will need to add in my new work and some of my new personal work too. I have improved a lot since this time last year so I have a lot of new skills to s
Above is my new and improved animatic! It has a couple scenes edited out which I will not be doing anymore along with some new sound effects and my not so impressive narration skills. My brother will kindly be doing the voice acting for my film, so I don't need to worry massively about that as I trust him to bring our Grandad's likeness to the film. So I have chopped and changed a bunch of scenes that I don't think really serve a purpose in telling the story and extended other important scenes. I also have some fresh new ideas to replace some of the less interesting ones. I hope that these changes will improve my film in the future. Check back soon to see the new storyboards!
Over the next couple of months, hopefully from Jan til April of this year, I will be filming and recording the charcoal and oil painted portions of my film. As I am a final year student, the uni has allowed be the use of one rostrum cameras full time and I can now leave my work out overnight without fear of it being moved. This means I can now work on sequences for longer periods of time. I am very excited to have my own space and am really looking forward to starting my film
So today we have started a new semester it's an exciting time and I'm looking forward what this term will bring in terms of my film. I have a plan for this term to make sure all my work is completed on time. In a couple of weeks we will be meeting with the composers to review our work and hopefully find someone to work with. I will need to start preparing for this soon. I will also be attending move summit for the very first time, which is exciting. I want to design some busi
