About me

I recently graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a first class degree in animation. I am now looking for work as a freelance 2D animator and illustrator.

Before joining Edinburgh's Animation department, I did my Foundation Diploma in Art and Design at Manchester Metropolitan’s School of Art in 2017 and graduated with a distinction.

In 2019, I was able to spend a semester abroad in Australia at Griffith University. It was a fantastic experience where I was able to take classes in character design, art direction, acting and performance and also classes in Toon Boom. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in Australia.

As an animator and illustrator, I wish to communicate my thoughts and feelings through my work to the best of abilities. I find the best way to do this is through exploring different techniques and styles. You will see this in my portfolio.

I have always loved animation and the way it gives the artist the ability to bring their works of art to life. I am interested in narrative and storytelling through animation, as I enjoy visually communicating ideas that helps the audience see a perspective in a new light.

Outside of art, I love travelling, mountaineering, horse-riding, sailing and scuba diving.

Please enjoy my portfolio, and feel free to get in touch with any questions.
